You could tell me you bought stuff on ebay and received absolute trash, and I know that what I bought on ebay was 100% genuine Suzuki, and we're both being honest because we bought from different vendors. ebay has a rating system that lets buyers rate the vendors and that system works reasonably well.

A blanket statement on quality of anything purchased on ebay means absolutely nothing unless it identifies a specific seller.

Now, let me make a statement - I've bought Suzuki parts on ebay, from India, and received exactly what I purchased, 100% genuine Maruti Suzuki spares.

Would you be willing to share the VIN/Chassis number of the Swift, let me see if I can get the kit part number for that vehicle - OEM rebuild kits are available out of Japan for my Swift which was a 92, and that might be the same carb your car has.

13380-60BT0 is the part number you're looking for.

Go to megazip.net, there's a search box near the top of the page, enter the VIN and it will bring up a list of catalogs, pick the correct vehicle, pick the catalog page (carburettor MT) and then scroll all the way to the bottom, you'll find the gasket set listed, you can buy it directly from megazip, or you can use the part number to search other online suppliers.

partsouq.com, amayama.com also have similar sites and may have better pricing.

Greetings, I recently bought 1990 Suzuki Swift hatchback. It has a G13BA engine with carb on it. As expected for a 35 year old car, carb could do with some refurbishing or replacing. Unfortunately info on what can be done and what carbs are good replacement is elusive. Ebay lists a bunch of repair kits manufactured in India, but I have recieved negative comments about the quality of those parts. Any info would be much appreciated.

What you need to do is verify the kit you're purchasing is for the carb that you have (there was more than one carb used on those Swifts) and that you're purchasing it from an ebay seller with a good reputation.

However, I have not found any listings that sell OEM Maruti parts, most of them are aftermarket and hence my questions. I have zero experience in purchasing aftermarket parts for Suzukis so I hav eno idea where to start from. Yes, no problem. It is Code: JSAEAA35S00115105 I believe its an really early model. While repairing the suspension, the standard roll bar bushings were to large, and it turned out the roll bar was the same spec as swift 1 and bushings for those fit perfectly. Similar story with the fuel pump, have some really odd looking one with Mitsubishi logo on it, was also a pain to source.

Thank you for the info. I already know about amayama, but megazip and partsouq are new to me.
