I was thinking of buying an SJ410 transfer case without the 4WD light and installing it in my Coily. Is it a good idea? How will the gear ratios change? What parts need to be modified? |

The non light cases are a pain. You can’t swap flanges so the whole driveshaft flange thing will be a mess. Buy a 1.0 4wd light case or a geared 1.3 case. I don’t remember all the ratios now but it will feel substantially lower. You’ll basically gain whole gear below your existing low 1st. |

Ok. I’ll have to try to find another one. In Finland, transfer case housings are quite rare to find for sale, and this one without the light is the first I’ve come across in a long time. |
