Hi, on my right hand drive Vitara the side / parking lights work, the low beam and high beam do not. The high beam pass (pulling the indicator switch) works.
There are no DTR.
The bulbs tested ok
The fuses are good
The multifunction switch is fine - I pulled it and tested the circuits ohm meter and "bell"
High beam - Red wire to white/black - yellow/red on the loom side of the connector
High beam pass - Red wire to red/black - black on the loom side of the connector
Low beam - Red wire/white stripe to white/black - yellow/red on the loom side of the connector
Put it back together and put a wire on the common yellow/red wire to earth.
Low and high beam work fine
From wiring diagrams it would appear a fault with the "negative circuit relay" see below because when I shorted the yellow / red worth to ground everything works.
Does anyone know where this relay is? I cannot find it. There is +12v from the purple/blue wire!
My other option is to wire a new relay in to poewer on when the ignition is turned on - probably a better option so that the lights will not be left on!
Thanks
