I'm trying to find a part to replace. Right side, infront of the engine mount (from the headlight POV). When you shift gears, the whole 'mount' moves making a loud clunking sound. It appears to be a sub frame mount, but I have no idea what part number it would be.

I cant find it on google and i cant see it in ANY exploded views or manual i can find.

Pics attached

Q1 - Is the picture taken from the top looking down?
Q2 - Where is the wheel relative to that picture?

For the bush in the picture to be in the bracket circled in blue on the subframe diagram, the wheel would have to be out of the frame above the picture, and that bush would have to be on the front control arm.

My daughter has my JB this week, and I'm unlikely to see her or the car until the weekend, so I can't just go take a looksee and confirm.

I was thinking the same thing Fordem. The photo doesn’t appear to match the diagram.

what you have circled is indeed not what the picture is of.
the circled bits are as fordem said the front control arm mount.
the picture is of the front diff r/h mount. part number 1.

Excellent detective work! Apologies for the ruse, I had no idea where the part sat in context so I took a miserable guess. I'll order that part tonight and get it done this weekend. I think getting it out will be a challenge... If you have any tips, let me know.

@fordem: To answer your questions in one; I was leaning over the front right fender looking down, airbox was to the right, the wheel is below the pic and the engine mount is to the left.

two of the bolts on that mount are extremely hard to get to, not only will you have to undo the upper through bolt, but the lower rear mount to allow you to drop the diff assembly to lower it enough to gain access to the bolts.

i knew exactly where you were taking that picture from so knew it wasnt the parts you circled.

are you sure that is the clunk though? ive never had to replace that part myself in all my years of doing this. only hade to remove it to replace the front diff assembly.
