Regards

Not really. You can fit Vitara front and jimny rear diff gears to a 1.3L sierra diff but they're a different ratio. Axles are different lengths.

Sierra, Vitara and Jimny is pretty broad, they all have a lot of variations in the different models diffs. What sort of Sierra do you have and what are you trying to do?

Lots of the diff centre parts are interchangable and you can mix and match.
I'm running a sierra hemisphere and auto-locker, with grand vitara side gears, and vitara cw&p in a GV housing.
Some of the jimny stuff I've read internal space is an issue.
Variations across the years I'm not up to speed, and you need various shims etc to make it all mesh nicely. Some machining was needed for different thickness axles.
Not much of it is documented and it's mostly suck it and see.

Cheers, looks like trial and era is the solution.

Not at all. What interchanges with what is well known but if you ask a very open ended question it’s hard to give a specific answer.

All Sierra, jimny and vitara use 26 spline rear axles.
All jimny and sierra use 22 spline front axles.

Broadly, jimny rear, 1.3 sierra front and rear and vitara front use variations of the same centre, with either 22 or 26 spline side gears as appropriate.

Jimny front is unique. But 22 spline.
Sj80 front is unique but uses 22 spline axles.
1.0 litre sierra uses a smaller centre but the same 22/26 spline axles.

If you are more specific about what locker you want and whether you wish to run 26 spline front axles we can be more specific.
