Hi all I'm looking at doing an engine swap to a 16 b in my Suzuki Sierra. I've bought a complete donor car and I am intending on transplanting the motor and automatic transmission into my Sierra. Would it be easier to pull the complete wiring learn out of the donor Vitara and install it completely into the Sierra or just take the bits out of it that I need? |

I don't think I'd swap the whole loom if you're starting with an SJ51 as per your bio. It requires swapping the steering column and ideally the instrument cluster. It takes a lot of stripping and messing around - wiper motor, blower fan etc. I swapped the whole loom but I had an early SJ40 with glass fuses and a very basic loom. |

Take the bits you need. There's plenty of swap pdfs and tutorials about, fair few on here in the tech section. |
