Cana anyone recommend a workshop who recondition LJ50 motors? I would be happy to ship my motor to get it professionally checked and rebuild as required. Thanks in anticipation. |

Hi Dennis, Just my opinion and I have never rebuilt an LJ 50 motor as I have a good supply of second hand motors. My advice is look for a Motorcycle mechanic with experience with multi cylinder 2 stroke motors from a similar era. Failing that a Jet Ski mechanic and do some more research on parts as I think the 2 middle main bearings are hard to find? They are specific to SUZUKI and I think they are the same as SUZUKI T500 twin (road bike) centre bearing? |

Thanks for that. I have the seals and have spoken to one Suzuki bike shop in Perth who were reluctant, I am also reluctant to replace the crankshaft seals myself so I will keep on asking around. I just wondered if there was someone out there who did rebuilds. Thanks again. Dennis. |
