Hi Everyone,

Apologies as this is my first post, so it might not be in the right place!

I recently purchased a 1995 Suzuki and currently fixing a few things, including the brakes.

On inspection, I have found that the rear brake cable is completely seized and It looks like I will have to buy a new one.

The car has had modified brakes as it is running a 1.6 Vitara engine, using R31 aluminum rear calipers. It is about 945mm long and adjustment is only on right side cable.
Have attached pictures below in the hope that someone can help me identify it (if it's from another car), or if it's custom, where I could get one from.

One end of the cable has a round eyelet and the other has a square-looking connection.

TIA!

Cant tell from the pic but the lwb runs a longer cable than the swb anyway your best bet would be a maruti one from india.
It may be a modified standard one, most fishing/boating shops would have crimpers suitable to modify a cable but brakes are pretty important so dont skimp.

It does look very standard, see if someone who has a WT can post up, or might be maruti specific

I sent the OP a PM with the name of the builder and some ideas for contacting them, the builder might remember what parts they used.

Yeah, I'm almost 100% sure it's one of his builds. I reckon I remember seeing it at a field day when it was just complete.

The front shocks mounts are fairly distinctive.
