Does anyone know if the ARB RD208 locker will fit into a steel front 3rd member. It looks like there is not enough clearance in the crown wheel side for the carrier to fit.

Sorry should have said, this is a 95 Vitara. I think the steel 3rd is out of a GV Vit. It had the vacuum actuator originally.

There is some fairly detailed tech on this on the forum. Sorry to be the “do a search” guy but I was skimming through some discussion about this in the last few months. I can’t quote the thread off the top of my head as vitara from stuff is only of passing interest to me but I’m confident the answer is here to be found.
