Hey guys not that i want to but if i get a lj50 with a stuffed motor and not able to rebuild it what would the motor of choice be to swap into it and what would be the best gearbox.
Would you go something like a g16b injected motor or that be to much?

Just getting some ideas on what my options could be

Steering box setup is an issue for most gearbox options in the lj. Ive used a sierra box mounted in a more traditional location for my gti swap. Even with the lj80 bonnet i had to do a 2" body lift for clearance.
