Hi guys looking at engine swaps and need to know what sort of power the transfer can take and the diffs 1 liter vs 1.3 liter

Any help would be great

It’s not that simple. It’s quite possible to break the driveline of a Sierra with a standard engine. On wet ice I’m sure you could put 1000hp through a Sierra driveline without breakage. It’s all about how much traction you’re generating.

You need to be more specific about setup and use.

as steve was saying it depends on set up traction that set up will actually allow, i had a rn105 hilux and have killed crown cv axle. And it differently wasn't to to do with power

i know it comes down to how you drive them i was just seeing if anyone had a ball park idea

Seriously, the "ball park idea" is meaningless. I've seen cars with 36Kw break driveline, and I've seen driveline live fine behind 120Kw. It's down to use and traction.

As I said, tell us about your application.

It’s not about how you drive it’s about torque at the wheels (gearing), traction and tire size. People have put big power through the transfers with the right set up and as Steve said people have broken parts in stock engines.

You really need to explain your application and planned set up more
