Hi guys looking at engine swaps and need to know what sort of power the transfer can take and the diffs 1 liter vs 1.3 liter I’m looking at running about 300 hp Any help would be great |

It’s not that simple. It’s quite possible to break the driveline of a Sierra with a standard engine. On wet ice I’m sure you could put 1000hp through a Sierra driveline without breakage. It’s all about how much traction you’re generating. You need to be more specific about setup and use. |

never gonna happen. you will want toyota diffs at a minimum |

as steve was saying it depends on set up traction that set up will actually allow, i had a rn105 hilux and have killed crown cv axle. And it differently wasn't to to do with power |

Seriously, the "ball park idea" is meaningless. I've seen cars with 36Kw break driveline, and I've seen driveline live fine behind 120Kw. It's down to use and traction. As I said, tell us about your application. |

People have put big power through the transfers with the right set up and as Steve said people have broken parts in stock engines.
