Hi guys, I have a 95 Vitara with H20A Manual

I've had a noise which has been getting worse, when taking off in first gear from a stop while releasing the clutch I get a loud rasping sound coming from under the car.
It doesn't do it through other gears and the clutch works fine, it's just this loud noise when releasing the clutch at low revs

How hard is it to drop the tranny out the bottom of the car if that's what I need to do to replace the clutch?

Any other ideas of what the noise may be?
