Should be 2 x 6.5" in the front doors & 2 x 6.5" in the rear roof - be warned the front doors require a shallow speaker, and you may need to trim the plastic film to prevent it from flapping - both sets use three hole mounts, not all speakers have them.

Did they make a 3L in 04? I thought the NGV was from 05 onwards...anyway I digress.
I have just done this in my '05' GV (Same shape at the 98-05). The fronts will be alright with 6" without a spacer - I replaced mine with Alpine Type R which came with a spacer which I used on my wife's car. In the rear I could not get a set of 6" coaxial's to fit (but some VERY shallow 6" speakers should fit well) so I opted to spend the extra little bit and get some decent 4" coaxial's (Type R again) and made a small adapter plate with the difference in mounting diameter. It's only the people in the rear that fully benefit from the rear speakers anyway, and with a sub in the system I decided that the lower frequency that I lost from choosing the 4" instead of the 6" in the rear would be taken up by the sub.
