Details- 1.3L NT LWB Sierra. Standard brakes around. problem- so the problem is the brakes where holding on ( on all 4 corners). The pedal would only move a little bit before the brakes would stop the car. What I have tried- at first I thought it was just the front calipers seized. So I swapped the front brakes to LWB vitara brakes that I knew were in good cond. then I realized the backs were dragging too. So I thought it must be the master cylinder. I swapped it over to another one that I was told was in good cond. but now the brakes are doing something different. The pedal takes a heap of pumps to get pressure and if after you have pressure you remove your foot off the pedal for a second the put your foot on the pedal again it goes to the floor. I have bleed the brakes over and over again and there are no leaks I can see. What should I be looking for, what else could the problem be? Cheers |

Nope how would I do that? And then I will spin the calipers next time I bleed it. |

ok so I have just bench bleed the master cylinder and spun the caliper so the bleed nipple is on top and re bled the rear then the front passengers and last the front drivers. if I put my foot on the brake now the pedal is just about at the floor. I have to pump them to get em to come good. what else can I do? |
