Post subject:  Jimny front diff, what is this pin? whats the procedure?

Hey guys, I was messing arround with the jimny on the weekend, nearly boxing it up after the sr20 install and I must have had a few beers too many coz i decided to pull this out of the front diff to see what it was, I have rebuilt the diff with trial jimny axles and cvs (26 spline) and used rear jimny side gears to suit) they've also had every bearing, seal, etc replaced though I left the centre open as per factory as I am not a big fan of locking the fronts personally.

Anyway I have attached a picture of what I have removed, And quickly realised I shoudln't have, though perhaps considered the work I have undertaken I should find the procedure to what FB grops tell me is a backlash adjuster? I've been all over google and in the manual and I cant find anything... is anyone able to shine some light on this?

Thanks again

The pin and its lock nut are # 22 / 23 respectively

it says tighten bolt in to 1.5NM
back it off half a turn

hold the bolt still and tighten the nut (with locktight)on it to 85NM
