im looking at lifting my sj70 2 inches with a suspension lift, im currently looking at at Old Man Emu lift because im after something that offers lift and more comfort then the stock 20yr suspension. does anyone has an opinion on this kit or a better suspension kit? i was at first considering a blupack from ebay but haven't heard the best things about them. Also does anyone have a price on the old man emu set up? as i can seem to see it online. |

I have the old man emu kit , if your not intending on breaking out angle grinder and welder at some point and doing a ruf (rears up front ) then I think it's worth every penny. Not sure on the cost , I think it's around $1200, I paid for a bar and installation at the time so I'm not sure. The kit came with all bushes u bolts shocks and steering damper and has held up very well over the past 3 years. Which includes a 20,000k tour from Melbourne to Perth and back via the Kimberly and Darwin. About the only part of the car that didn't break. The ride is very good as is, but I did remove a leaf from the front and after that it was perfect. I can't comment on other brands but I hear very good things of the Efs springs and they are all a little longer than the ome's which could mean that if you played around with how many leafs in the packs ect. You could end up with better flex. I say could as I have no personal experience with them. But this is what I read . I hope this helps |

Cheers man, what 'pack' did you get as I would have to buy it online I wonder was it a straight set or did you have to get all the pieces individually? |

I got the standard kit .i haven't heard of being able to buy them in individual leafs . The springs generally come as a pack of 3 or 4 with a load leaf or 2. The constant load kit is quite stiff and needs a fair amount of gear to get or working. I had to ad some leafs for my big trip as I was carrying 50Ls extra fuel and 20Ls of water plus gear, which was a lot, 3 months living out of the car. So if your crazy enough to do something Of the sorts then considering the heavy kit would be a good idea though you would no doubt have to remove some leafs from the start for dayly driving. |

cool did you get it off there website or from a rep as when i looked online they didnt have sierra specific packs |
