I've got a wt Sierra What has everyone done to stop their tyres hitting the springs. I'm unsure of the offset of my rims but I'm thinking about some wheel spacers. but my tyres already hang out the gaurds a good inch and a half? Oh and I'm running a 31s

Hit the springs or hit the retaining bolt on the springs ?
If it hits the bolt only then remove bolt

Just take the bolts out - fixed
The only effects this will have on the car is allowing the spring more droop which is a good thing.

I can't up load pics but the tyres push hard on the spring clamp I was gunna let the tyre down and see how much it pushes in I might just get some spacers

Removing the bolts and changing the steering stops would be preferable to fitting spacers.

Adding more offset through spacers will likely move the clearance problem somewhere else.

Change the spring mounts to NT spacing, that way you can retain full steering lock

Yeh I thought about doing that but for now I'll adjust my lock bolts and if I need it go to nt spacing
