With the roof off, a soft top sierra is pretty much a ute anyway? There's just not much space back there =)

IMO, get one of these:

1.3L EFI engine, 4WD, decent enough payload, aircon...

why?

The arches clear 15" rims off a swift sport. That's plenty of clearance for general offroad work, and it's already a ute.

They're actually great fun to drive as well.. I reckon more fun to drive than my sierra personally!

I can't operate the stupid search function on this site, I've been trying to find the video that someone posted recently of one of these things nearly doing front flips in a 4wd park.
Looked like great fun.

Searched the whole site for references to pootube.... :(
It was posted somewhere random (like most things these days), but it's not worth wasting more time looking for it. I have better things to do while I'm procrastinating at work... :D
