Just found a wiring diagram and the fuse that keeps blowin is the windscreen wipers... I have no radio and no check engine light The relays are clicking when I turn the key on and the starter motor clicks but won't actually crank, the battery is 100% full only just pulled it off the charger... I'm lost |

If it burnt out when the a/c stopped working that was ages ago and was running with it blown, and it runs on a separate circuit to the ignition/radio I'm going to replace the havc just to rule it out but I rang the auto electrition and he said it shouldn't stop it from turning over |

I agree, but then if its not caused by the Hvac the auto elec should be able to tell you what is causing the issue |

Ahh mud! It kills everything. Did you try a new starter in it ? Oh and I'd get a better sparky. |

zukenutter wrote: Try clutch starting it push starting? have you tapped the starter yet? sometimes they get deadspots where they cant produce enough initial torque to get momentum and inertia required to start the car. giving it a tap with a hammer sometimes works. extreme case is roll starting in 2nd, and trying to start the car at the same time you dump the clutch. ive seen this work just have to make sure you dont overrun the starter if it works for you lowndsey did this one year in the v8's. lost his clutch so had to start the car in 1st and use the startermotor to drive the car forward till the engine kicked over, cos your tyres cant be spinning when you on the airjacks so he had to turn the car off while they were refueling and jacked. |
