So every now and then my accelerator sticks and the car keep going faster and then it'll just sort itself out and the car stops accelerating. What could be causing this? Should I just get a new cable or do I need to lube up some joint. It maybe something else? Thanks!
Pedal pivot bush Pedal pivot bolt done up to tight Broken/kinked sheath on your cable Frayed cable end that jams in the sheath Cable needs lube Sticking shafts in the carby Pedal getting stuck on floormats ect
Get the pedal pivot kit from LROR, new pedal rubbers and a new cable anyway, things like that make a car nicer to drive. Stiff, squeaking pedals suck.
