Hey Guys Have been having an on going issue with my 1990 swb vitara the clutch has been sticking i have been adjusting the cable and this has been fixing the issue but only for a week or so i have kept doing this every time i noticed the clutch sticking i have checked the lever off the side of the bell housing as i have broken one b4 but it is fine and hasnt moved my question now is it that the clutch cable has been stretching or is my clutch plate gone. i have now run out of adjustment on my cable and need to fix hope this makes sense lol Cheers Alex |

I'd be sticking a cable in before you do anything else |

The cable is not affected by the type of loads you haul, rather the resistance of the clutch pressure plate. Mine was starting to grind in the sheath, so I removed the cable from teh vehicle and sprayed heaps of Lanoline grease down the cable. Has improved it immensely. |
