Hi guys, I am thinking of putting some extractors on my Sierra as the current exhaust at the flange rubs on the chassis. It has a G16A engine with EFI fitted. The Sierra is a 1992 swb, if that has any bearing on matters. What model/type extractors will I need to purchase? Does anybody know of some secondhand ones by chance? I'm in Ipswich, Qld. Cheers, Ted. |

There's a mob in NSW, 'Maximum Performance Headers', he also sells his stuff on eBay a bit cheaper, I just bought 1.3L extractors off him and they look excellent, I'm yet to install them, but I can't pick any faults with them! He's got a set of G16B efi sierra extractors for sale for $200 dollars on eBay currently, definitely worth a look! |

Ok thanks Brooksy. So it is as simple as that hey? Someone on here just recently corrected me when I said in another thread that my 1.6 EFI was a G16A. Apparantly the G16B is the EFI motor. The thing is that the engine I have has G16A stamped/cast into it on the lower left hand side somewheres (not here to look at). Does this seem right, and does it make a difference with extractors? Cheers, Ted. |

Some extractors hit the chassis, mine did when I put a g16a in my sierra. There is a company that makes extractors for the sierra 1.6 conversions so they miss the chassis. |

8v and 16v cylinder heads use different extractors. The port shape and bolt pattern are different. Steve. |
