buy the kit get the A Arm... pretty surethey won't sell individual pieces, hence no pricing on parts.

It's a pointless piece of rubbish made to accept a cheesy heim joint which flogs out and doesn't travel more than the stock ball joint with a spacer any way. Don't bother.

It is bright blue and has a heim joint though, so it's mad hektik bro.

So what setup is the way to go with the heim joint/ball joint?

Honestly the stock ball joint with a spacer really does do plenty of misalignment. It certainly does all the misalignment that's available in the vitara spring design. If you run over length shocks and think its cool for the springs to fall out, then the stock ball joint might not have enough travel, but that's not a functional suspension in my book. Pull your springs and and cycle the suspension- you'll be surprised how much travel is in the ball joint.

The calmini arm does correct pinion angle with the tall lift, but having pulled one out after some time and seeing the damage to the race of the heim joint due to angular misalignment being exceeded, I think it's a poorly designed part. Like quite a few of the calmini parts I've seen,it looks to be built down to a price, whilst maintaining the required hektikness of bright paint and a heim joint. We replaced it with a ball joint spacer and the stock a arm.

Depending on your state and engineer, you might also find it impossible to engineer the heim joint.. The diff bracket we pulled for NDT inspection as part of the (futile) engineering process was cracked too. The car it came off ran a whole complete calmini kit- no other spacers, longer shocks, nothing.

Will be interesting when I pull out the current heim joint, it is making alot of noise.

Have a replacement heim, but would like to research a better way to improve the design/setup.
