Good one.

Celicas came out with the following 1.8L motors.

3T-E
3T-GTE
4T-GTEU
1S-U
1S-iLU
4S-Fi
7A-FE
1ZZ-FE
2ZZ-GE

But they are all 1.8's, so I guess its the same job fitting any of them. :deadhorse:

Not a 1.8 celica motor

Beams you may as well get a Altezza cut with the 6sp

2zz would be worth it if a gbox was found.

18R (GEU) is a bloody good engine but damn heavy.
120 cubic inches... 145 horsepower.
While Corona/Celica 4 speed boxes are tough as old boots, good luck finding a short enough 5 speed to work in a Zuk.

There was details on the Internet a few years ago for installing the Corolla motor into a Sierra, just did a search and nothing came up so not sure where it's hiding.

An 18R is much bigger and heavier than any corolla motor

I saw a factory boosted 18r in a Sierra many years ago. Apparently it was scary fast but there were big clearance/fitment issues.
