someone once told me the top halfs of the doors on his zook were removable but they weren't soft top doors with vinyl windows
was this an option on sierras?
can standard doors be modified to do this?
Cheers

i can't see why it couldn't be done. The windows would just be like a series 1 landy though.

no, cause the glass would flop about and break if somebody unbolted them and then wound the glass up

ok makes sense
would replacing the tack welds that hold the window frames with a bolt on bracket work?
i understand i would still have to unbolt the window from the regulator and take it out

you probably could remove the frame from the door and get it to work but it proabbly doesnt achieve much

I think your friend had a (dare i say it )Range Rover and was living in la-la-land believing it to be a Suzuki. Why not wash out the door before you wind the window up,same result less work, or wash the window before you put it down.

possible but kinda pointless. Why not just take the seal rubbers out and then it won't scratch the window.
or take the winders off when you go off road then you can't wind them up or down.....
