hi all

well ive been doing quite a bit of beach driving lately and the other day once hubs and 4x4 were locked in ive noticed i now have quite the clicking noise mainly when turning

now of all the searches ive done this does sound like my cvs could be just about shot

the thing id like to know is can you check them to c if there buggered and can u just buy one side if only one side is rooted or do i re do the lot?

can u check by locking one hub in or something to c if only one is buggered or?

cheers tsock

try grabbing the cv shaft and trying to force it up and down / left to right, if it moves about heaps then it flogged. if not, try the other side.

alrighty ive been ringing around for a price and some people are telling me that its better to replace the whole lot instead of just the side joints as the inner joints get flogged out in these cars?
