as the title says, whats the best way to fix this.  top hinge has pulled off bodywork. have pictures but to large to put up.

edit your pics in microsoft paint.
jus topen them, then click image on the top bar, then stretch skew.
when it comes up with the window abotu stretching your image, type in 25% on both horizontal and vertical and then save your image.
now you should be able to upload your pics.

If it's just stripped out the thread, the best bet would to get in behind it and brace with a decent piece of steel, and drop some bolts through it.
Alternatively, being a soft top, do you even use the tailgate? If not, just bolt the thing shut permanantly.

seen a few people convert them to be drop down with some door hinges
