Has anyone got any tips for removing rear brake drums? |

On what? Sierras, you just need to remove the 4 nuts and it should drop off. It may take some encouragement from a hammer between the studs to loosen rust. Not sure about Vitaras... |

undo the four nuts that hold the drum to the axle. . . leave the five wheel nuts tight, release handbrake(if W/T), kick around tyre. the additional leverage will break the rust hold pretty quickly.. |

You can 'gently' tap the face of the drum with a hammer to release any corrosion present, then wiggle it off the handbrake. |
