So one of the side effects of the dreded 4k conversion is moving the transfercase towards the rear meaning that i need a longer front tail shaft. Not sure excatly how long i need as i didnt move the t-case or have a front shaft or the tcase in the chassis at the moment for that matter. but its rougly 150mm longer give or take. So the golden question is how big is to big for a spacer? and if say 75 mm is about the max one would go is it dumb to sudjest running one at each end 75mm long each? Have lathes at school so turning spacer it self ill be fine at but have relative with machineing background/bussiness and has a indexing attatchment for mill to allow to get the holes excatly 90degres out. might sound like a fair bit of mucking around but been qouted from 150 to 250 to shorten a shaft so lengthen would be more.

Would go down this path if it was to run a single spacer, just go the same design as the 13mm rock hopper one is running two.

I cant see why not as long as they are machined correctly and your uni angles arent frucked. But really its probably better to get a proper one made up. If it gets you going then look at other shafts off different cars like luxs and shit. Some of them are different lengths and might match up with luck
