Put them side by side. If all the bumps are in same place, and keyways etc are same, then it should work. Never tried it myself, but thats what I do to decide on cams.

The firing order and the head are the same so I don't see why it wouldn't work/couldn't be made to work. I don't need to put in a new cam, I was just wandering if there were any performance gains to be had by doing so.
The difference is the f8a camshaft is designed different on the snout . It uses another housing bolted to the front of the head which houses the cam seal and uses a different rear timing belt case. As for performance , it has the same lift and duration as the f10a camshaft
