On the wiring diagram that i have it dose not have a distributor with 7 cables going into it :? :? the 7 cables go back to those plugs, then from there they plug into the ECU.

Are all of the cables coming out of the distributor plug ment to all be plugged into the ECU via the plugs?? Because some of them stop at the plug :? or has jaczook cut out the wrong cable (it has had a lot of other things cut out that i need ie earths vss.....)

Howdy gvzook, still having problems? do you have the resistor condensor wired in to the loom at all? on the vitara it is bolted to the firewall top l/h side, cant remember if the wires went from it directly to the distributor (ie bypassing the two engine loom connectors) or not. condensor is very easy to forget about when your hacking the loom away from wrecked vitara though. should be a 3 by 3 by 3cm black box with 4 pin connector plug. when I found out I fergot this little thing I got one from wreckers and spliced it into engine wiring loom intead of mounting it on firewall (much tidier).
This diagram might help? its a cut/paste job from a much bigger one. The red lines indicate the connector to the distributor that we have. the white on mine however was not shielded as the diagram shows and the black with no trace is actually a black with orange trace on my engine.

I got this loom already cut up. I don't remember seeing it anywhere do you have a picture of it. I have tried to go the wreckers here but no one has the 7 pin plug on there g16b

Because in my loom it goes from the dissy to the plugs to the ecu nothing in between :? :? But I'll unwind all the tape once I get back up to darwin

My 8V has the 7-pn dizzy, the noise suppressor is hanging off the wiring on the passenger side bulkhead.
