So how much work is involved in putting a G16B out of a Baleno (like this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/suzuki-balin ... 500wt_1202 ) into a Vitara please?

Just use the baleno head with your vitara block and manifolds. Much easier the rewiring to suit baleno sensors or changing them.

I fitted a dizzy drive type Baleno/Swift 1.6 to my Vitara.

I used cam and dizzy from the Vitara.
Sump, oil pick up and Bearing girdle from the Vitara.

I used all manifolds and bolt ons from my Vitara.

My Vitara is EFI.

I going away,
