What type of terrian will you be driving?? how much space do you need? There are plenty of options.. but you need to ask yourself what you want out of the zook?.. a tourer, a tough weekender.. comp rig ect A Vitara would be perfect for easy-medium 4wding.. much nicer on the road than a sierra.. quieter, more comfy ect A sierra for medium-extreme 4wding.. a bit rougher than a vit..more noisy, does not handle or ride as well as a Vitara Both are cheap to repair maintain.. a sierra is a bit simpler to work on tho |

What type of terrain is there in WA? The car needs to be my daily driver. So space i guess is kind of important. I kind of want a tough weekender. Wow a comp rig! That would be cool but i have no idea about 4wden yet. I have not even got my car yet. How much nicer on road is a vitara then a Sierra? Cheap repairs would be good. I want to work on it myself. But i have never realy worked on a car before. Are they easy to work on? Thanks |

Ok cool thanks. Well if they are Chalk and Cheese then i guess i have to choose which is better? If i like lancelin then which would be better for sand dunes? I have had a look through pics on this site and im leaning towards a sierra? I think they look meaner. What is a good price for one? Or are they too old? Maybe something newer? Iv seen pics of the Jimny's they look pretty awsome! especially done up! thanks |

Why don't you find one of each to drive then decide. I'm sure someone will be kind enough to take you for a quick spin. They are all very different to drive |

are you a new driver? whats your budget like? if your gonna drive sand hills i personally think the vitara would be the way to go. wider, more stable. more power from the factory |

budget well i havent realy considered that just yet. Im a student but i work part time delivering pizza's. So i will be in it a fair bit. It needs to be reliable and zippy which is what i heard about Zooks. I have a bit of money saved up for the car and so i can do some mods. I want to put my stereo in from my 76 corolla in it. I have a 12" sub and amp with a MP3 player. I like the idea of the soft top zooks. It would be cool driving delivering Pizza's with the roof down and a sic stereo blasting! especially if i do it up! |

100% your describing a vitara. the 1.3 sierra is NOT zippy, the 1 litre is worse again. if your putting a "sic" stereo in it, get a hard top, or it will be some one elses stereo in no time. for what you want the vit will fit the bill better than any thing else. and look pretty good when modded correctly. |

I do like Jims they look cool with BIG lifts! But I think a BIG lifted Vitara will look SIC! especially with a SIC stereo blasting! I might get a Pioneer sticker for it aswell. to add to the Bling! I have been looking around for lift kits for Vitara's cant see anything bigger then 2" suspension. Does any one do a bigger suspension lift for a Vitara? 2" i just do not think is big enough! Whats the coolest biggest lift for a vitara? Has anyone on here have a cool lifted Vitara? |

Hit the Nail on the head mate And mate... sure big lifts look cool... but for what your doing 2 inch is maybe all you will need... and maybe just maybe.. a front locker... |

5" lift may sound cool but it may not be practical. Your budget will determine alot of factors/answers |

Serously mate.. do you really need 5 inch's of lift Might make it a less drivable car on the road.. A locked car with minimal lift can keep up with a keep up with a sky high lifted 4wd with a noob driver I out drove a patrol with a 5 inch lift and 35's[unlocked].. in my 86 4runner with 31's and twin lockers.. 8 |
