Hi I am about to buy the 2" jimnybits lift. What i wanted to know is there a way to move the stock radius arm forward enough to clear a 235x75x15? I believe the tyre will scrub on the door side of the front arch and I am not worried about trimming my front bumper to fit. I was thinking of using a offset bush on the chassis mounting point to move it forward maybe 10-15mm. Will this work? |

You won't get 15mm from one bush. Longer arms are the best solution. |

All I know is that the jimny radius arm bush is 50mm diameter, there is a 14mm bolt through the 20mm OD crush tube in the centre of the bush, which leaves about 10mm of rubber either side of centre. Removing any of this for the sake of an offset bush will dramaticly effect the way the bush works, and most likely lead to a VERY fast bush failure. |

Well I have 31s with 50mm lift but have cut all the way to the floor to stop em rubbing standard radius arms |

Thanks for the replys I spoke with rus from jimnybits and he said that with his castor corrected radius arms i will be a inch over rotated. He says he has plans in the future for radius arms to suit all his lifts. guess i will have to go with offset bushes. Anyone running 235's how much trimming was required |

For 30's and -13 offset rims I only had to cut the rear corners off on each flare down the bottom of the flares. But my diff is moved forward. So for 235's you might have to do the same or even more trimming, since your diff is in stock position. If you have a arb bar then a fair bit has to be cut off there. If you have the stock front bumper then I'm not quite sure. |

235s will only need very minor trimming unless you plan on running offset rims. |

Just redrill the chassis points further 15mm and weld up the factory holes, I did and it works a treat |
