Hi all, Over the years, I have heard of people fitting the H25a and H27A into a normal vitara/Tracker. However, I have never seen a thread of the actual conversion and what is neccessary. Does anyone know what needs to be done....obviously engine mounts How about Gearbox mounts? What gearbox do I use (GV or mine)? whats the difference in gearbox/t-case lengths? (will I need to move the gearbox back..new tailshafts etc) Fuel pump? is the stock tank able to cater? Any threads containing this conversion would be ever so helpful! Regards, Swifty |

Why not use a J20A? They came out it Vits so it might be an easier swap? |

If I am going to swap, I want to make it worth the effort. I mean a 2L would be good but a 2.5 would be much better. Also, I have a front cut available very cheap |

it's been done on here, check out threads made by dezook in the rigs section. i can't see how they are going to be the same block... J20a is a 4cyl the H20a, H25a, H27a are all V6's & the G series blocks are different again eg G13 & G16. your CV's are going to love the extra power. |
