Get a new pump and cooler from low range
If that's not enough get the box taped for hydro
It's where u use a ram from the diff to the drag link to help push it around
Or get the new pump and a box from another car
Finding one to fit is the problem

A Vitara box will turn 35's fine with a hot rodded pump. The biggest problem is that your steering is going to get [i]SLOOOOW/i]

Pay carful attention to pitman arm length vs steering arm length to avoid this.

If this gets too hard, the premium upgrade would be a LHD IFS hilux box.

I don't know how many people have experience with hydro assist on a road-driven car, but the research I have done indicates it does slow the steering down a bit. That would drive me mad, especially in a car that already had too-slow steering because of a mismatch between pitman arm length and steering arm length. I was pretty keen to try hydro assist but the loss of speed that I've heard is the norm wouldn't be acceptable for me. I like to carry some speed on fast dirt and slow steering is unacceptable.

Why LHD Lux Steve? They get upgrades in the states? Question is how much else needs to be sourced/fabbed/modded to get it in...

Anyone know of anything a bit easier/cheaper to find? Other than the LROR $200 pump, $45 pulley, $50 bracket, $40 reservoir, $130ish of plumbing, $60 cooler, $135 for a beefier arm, $35 bracket... what's that, nearly $700 That's not actually that bad...

Hydro sounds horribly inefficient to me, but I can't claim to have researched it much.

I think it is to do with fitting box on inside of chassis.
I think? hi lux is mounted outside?

This could all be BS, but sounds feasible

Spot on.

It sits on the outer side of the left rail in LHD format. This is perfect for fitting to the inside of the right hand rail for RHD.

I thought an IFS lux had an inner chassis mounted box also.

Depending on the track width of the axle you are going to be running in the front, along with tyre size and rim offset, you might no need a LHD IFS hilux box - a RHD box might be fine.

LHD boxes are available from Trail Gear or Lowrange.
