Hey guys i have an 89 1.3 sierra just wondering where the sensor is on the motor for the water temp gauge mine has stopped workin so putting a new one in just dont know where it comes from? |

It stick out the side of the thermostat housing - divers side where the top radiator hose meets the block. |

Only a dribble if cold, can stop it with finger, again if cold, not wise to do it hot/under pressure. You may get an air lock afterwards, just run it for a bit with cap off. PS dont use thread tape or sealant, as it needs to earth to work. |
