| Post subject: | Tyre Size Confusion |
Hi All, first post here )looking forward to more) I have an 08 GV (DDiS) and just done the following: > 2" IronMan Lift > ARB Winch Bar > IPF Lights > Suzuki Under protection Plates > Safari Snorkel. No I am looking for some new rubber and trolling through forums and in Govt websites about how hi I can go is confusing. Most people will say it is limited to 15mm OD increase. But isnt that ust for cars. According to Vehicle Standards Buletin Page 21, that for 4WD they the increase in OD can be 50mm larger. I am running 17's, and want to go Cooper AT3 255/65 R17 (OD 766) which keeps me to less that 50mm OD increase. IO also read a forum here that the limit for increasing the height of t vehicle is 2" max so if you have lifted the vehicle 2" via a lift kit, you cannot increase the OD. Anyone here help on this confusing issue. |
