so i got up early to go fishing pull onto the free way and i have a bad missfire under load
97 g16b 3 wire af meter
where is the diagnostic plug? and which to pinouts do i short out? for codes.
no check engine light on dash.
changed plugs no difference
removing leads one at a time causes rougher running
as does doing the same with injectors so fuel and spark appear ok
dont have a compression tester handy but i doubt it would of just burnt a valve for no reason.
cheers peeps.

Misfire under load suggests to me a spark problem.
I would be looking hard at plugs, leads, dissy cap & rotor button.

Do what Jas has suggested first. No need to go all balls in and start with the more complicated stuff

Wait til its night (dark) and watch for arcing on the leads. normally happends as you increase revs a bit.
