Why would you put bigger brakes in the rear than the front? Of course, you could use LWB brakes at both ends. The gain would be minimal over using Lwb up front and stock fronts in the rear. You would also face the brake bias/balance issues that people running sierra discs in the rear get. |

running LWB at the front, wanting to put the same in the rear running the prop vlve so the bias is all fixed got a spare set or LWB vitara calipers and rotors and though rather then using little stock sierras on the rear i could use the LWB, what do you think? |

It seems to me if you use a prop valve for the back, you are cutting the brakes down anyways. So that means you are not able to use all of the rear disks you have now without turning them down and loosing a percentage. So while the LWB brakes may brake better, you won;t notice a difference because you will turn them down to match what you already have. Where lwb brakes might make a difference is if you are carrying heavy loads and need stopping power for more weight. The weight will help keep the rear tires from skidding, so you could turn the prop valve down more, and use more brakes before they lock up. Hope that makes sense -Sky |
