Hey about to embark on a body swap between 2 LWB vitaras. Can anyone advise any tips or tricks for a trouble free swap. Picked up 2 vehicles. The better body is sitting on a bent chassis as it was front ended however the body from the firewall back appears sound. I also intend to work on the better chassis whilst everything is apart. There is plenty of info on this site re the sierra but i have not been able to find any vitara info. Also do the inner front guards detach from the firewall and where are the bolts if so. |

vitara's dont run a front clip as such like the sierra's, the inner guards are attached to the body. |

Thanks for the quick reply. So the inner is attatched to the firewall and unable to be removed? I assume then that if the inner guards are bent as a result of the front ender the body becomes a write off if the panel work on the inner is to major |

The inner guard can be replaced. Any panel beater could do this job. |
