Won't make a noticeable difference. Still a stock disk and caliper, only crossdrilled and slotted, which is more for roadcars making high braking temps.. Pbr rebuild would of probably only done seals and new guide bushes, which is good, but its only a simple rebuild.. A more noticeable braking upgrade would of been a vented disc off a lwb vit and its caliper to suit. There is plenty of threads on this and again, if you searched, you would of got it right the 1st time. Sierra's dont use much braking in the rear at all. I drove 500k's wih no rear brake alltogether as i was having problems. The only better thing with disc rear is for cleanliness. Mud roots drums and shoes as it sits in the drum grinding away, Disc, all you do is hose off, ready to go. |
