I found out during rego swap my car had an accident 7 or 8 years ago - it might explain why the body mount looks like this:
How hard to replace the mount? What sorta cost do you think i'd be looking at to get it good as new? Probably not something I could do - it's been 15 years since I last cranked up a mig. Tossing up fixing all the bits like this, or just getting another Sierra and parting out all the bits I don't need. |

What a mess You'll need to make a completely new mount and replace it. That one is toast. |

Its gone 8 years, chances are its solid enough to continue holding up that extremely heavy corner for the remaining life of the car |

With a new motor ready to install i'm hoping to get another 10 years of zookin' under my belt... but I think i'm pushing shit uphill with this car. I want a nice zook, like JrZook's... I guess that means a ban on future roller paint jobs Gimmie a few more months and i'll get another Sierra that I can pull apart and restore while driving this one into the ground. Maybe I can luck out with a LWB |
