I think you will find it is at a certain speed.

Check even tyre pressures.
Then King pins, bearing etc.

This happened in my coily randomly for the first year I owned it. It would happen without warning at any speed, and was seriously violent, so much so that it had to be pulled over. Then it would be fine for another month, or a day. Totally random.
Myself, and three other mechanics went over it on seperate occasions with a fine toothed comb and could find nothing at all wrong with the low k's vehicle.
Got sick of it in the end and installed a Tough Dog steering damper. Hasnt done it again in the past 3yrs.
Band-aid I know, but it was either that or get rid of it.

i found with my coily the two inch suspenion lift gave it the shakes with stock tyres around 60kmhs fitted castor correctors and no more shakes

mine does this to, sometimes you can speed up and it goes away

Check wheel balance too.
If your front wheels are out of balance you might not feel it until you hit a certain speed.

Shocks
Suspension
Unis / drive shafts
Wheel balance
Wheel bearings
steering damper
buckled rims
tyre pressure
brakes

Is it coming through the steering wheel, or the seat, or your pedals?

Mine did it after suffering a slight bend in the tie rod. It would happen at any speed. Basically I'd hit a bump just the right way, usually while cornering, and the tie rod would bend, then spring straight, then bend, then straight and so on. Gave massive steering shuddering to the point of having to pull over.

And Bruce you can't complain about being old and then throw "WTF" into the same post :P. You damn kid with your sms acronyms.

Yeah its coming thru the steering wheel, but I went to Bridgestone/TJM and they say my tyres are 6 years old and starting to crack and r bigger than standard size and says thats the problem, and then went to Tyrepower and they reckon cos of the age and wear of the tyre one is giving out
