hey guys, i can't get my 1L in my LJ to idle properly. It revs fine and can sit on 2000rpm fine however just cuts out as soon as it gets near 1k. It's a late model maruti f10a if thats helps. I'v checked for vac leaks and sprayed it with carby clean so far. Also it has this connector on it which look to lead to some sort of solenoid

That is a fuel cut out solonoid. Check in behind the needle and seat, on those carbies there is a small mesh screen it gets blocked up and they won't run at low rpm's give that a clean. Screw mixture all the way in and then back out 2.5 to 3 turns then reset the idle. |

cheers guys. so i'll run an 12v ignition feed and ground to the that solenoid and clean the carb out as you said 2stroker. Hopefully that solves the problem |

ok i wired in the solenoid and pulled the carby off and gave it a good clean out (couldn't find the mesh screen you were talking about though 2stroker?). It now can idle properly |
