ECU Question??

HI, I am lookin at swaping over my ecu.

I have a 1.8l liana engine running on the 1.3 jiminy ecu.

It runs fine but i would like to swap them over to compare the difference.

Dose anyone here know if i have to reprogram the ecu to match the key and transponder unit. if so how do I go about doing it ?

Is there a chip in the ecu that i can swap over that has the code on it to match?

Pin out's are different to my knowledge, so a straigt swap won't work.
Also the chip's for jim's are different to the rest of the Suzuki range ( Apv's to)

What about fitting an apexi piggy back computer to run with the jimny computer to get your mixtures right.

Yeah Ive been looking for the wiring diagram for the liana pin
-outs but havent had any luck yet. I Have the jimny one .

Is the Liana the same car as the Areo? I can find one for the Areo but it has 2.3L engine.

Yeah I didnt want to go down that track I would just like to put the 1.8 ecu in there. Especially not for the price of them units!!!~! Thats more than the whole conversion has cost me so far.
