hey guys i know you have all probally answered this question b4, but i need help. i looked through all the old topics and read up on the issue of no spark. but to no avail, I have put a 1.6 vitara bottom end and reused my 1.3 head in a conversion on my 92 sj70 sierra. brand new motor from dereck at suzi sports, i have brand new coil new leads and plugs.

now there is a wire coming off the dizzy with a yellow lead and black lead with a white plug on it.joined to that black lead with white plug is a brown wire with white plug on it. on the bottom of the dizzy where it is joined to the back of the head there is a black wire. my question is this.

does the yellow wire go to positive?
out of the loom there is a black and white wire with a white plug end does that go to the positive?
does the black wire with white plug go to negative?
and attached to the black wire is brown wire with plug does that go the loom?

Iam confused been trying all night last night to get it sorted and cant do it. everything is ready to go just need spark to fire her up for first time. any ideas guys cheers for help in advance.

I cant remember and you are confusing but hte bits I do remember

black with white trace from the car loom is power, goes to coil positve
Black from teh bottom of the dizzy housing (IE its bolted to it) is an earth and needs to have the other end connected to the body

you now have 2 wires coming from the dizzy, one is yellow and one is brown?
I cant remember which is which here, if nobody else pipes up soon stick the yellow on coil negative and brown on coil positive, if nothing happens swap them, if still nothing happens post some pics of your connections or assume youve blown it up :)

This is why you mark stuff when you pull things apart
