I don,t even know if serria's have a belt or a chain.

Will there be some sign that it is on the way out ?

Belts mate

100,000 kms is a sign its on its way out haha
Take timing cover off.... if you can see the rib marks on the outside of the belt its buggered.

They have a belt mate. When it's stuffed your car won't drive as the crank is no longer connected to the cam and rockers :wink: If your really worried about it you could pull out the radiator, shroud, fan, inspection cover and have a look at it. Or for good measure just replace it. The kit is relatively cheap :wink:

even my wife knows its got a belt
100 000km or 8years is the recomended service interval
but if you dont know change it like rusho said
