Gday Fellow Zook lovers, after doing all the usual p Plater modifications such as stereo an spotlights, ive decided to follow on with a 2 inch suspension lift to soften out the ride a touch an give lil jimmy a more agressive stance,
after reading the Pretty detailed Tech article by Zook_fan on the same subject, ive decided to go the way of gabrielle 81340 shocks on front an the 81147s on the rear, seeing that gabbies stuff is of reasonable quality an good oll supercheap keep a huge range in stock at a good price, but ive hit a snag when it comes to coils, seeing that the shocks are suited to a 2 inch lift, the only coils i can seem to find to suit jimmy are the dobinsons c57-046 and c57-053 jobbies. however, these bad boys are only designed for a 40mm raise. is this shock an spring combo gunna work well enough together, or can anyone suggest another breed an model of coil for the job. i want decent quality. but ome is just a touch more than i wanna spend.

I wouldnt be too worried about the numbers. 2" and 40mm are arbitrary numbers. I put a "40mm" lift in mine which raised it 65mm. (although I'm sure it has settled down a bit now)
If you value your spine go for a softer coil. OME coils shouldnt be too bad on price.
I put in a Ridepro kit but the OME kit was quoted as being cheaper. IMO the ridepro springs are just a tad too stiff.
