Hey Joe, It's probably unlikely, but are the battery tray's removable? They're probably spot welded in, but I presume they can be fitted to earlier models. |

the later tray over that side is welded in the early tray on the drivers side bolts in, but doesnt fit the later ones cause its a different booster |

how? if you have enough water that high up to worry that sort of shit then its the least of your current problems |

cant do on a vitara sealed or not (all are not cause nobody here could afford a truly sealed fuse box) if electrics go underwater they should all be cleaned and maybe a bit of crc sprayed around anyway cause youll get corrosion on pins and so on |

I've screwed a 6-fuse block to the firewall directly behind the battery of my 93 LWB - right between that useless black plate and the two ID plates:
Just unclip the loom and push it out of the way. ...and you thought Joe's wiring was dodgy! |

I hate playing with wires and stuff I'm pretty drunk atm ![]() them skinny wires, what are they? besides a fire waiting to happen? the compressor power wire you could turn around so its at least poking out of the terminal the same way as teh rest the fuse for the doof doof should be screwed to something, see if you can get a long chunk of cable and a terminal and screw it to teh firewall |

hook the uhf up behind the stereo, either use off the cig lighter if you want it to turn off with the key or the radio memory wire if you want it on all the time Just had a play with mine, on high beam it drops .5v on the power side and 1v on the earth side, which is quite bad |

ok, if you set the meter to volts, stick one end on the battery positve and the other end on teh drivers headlight terminal marked ground, with engine idling and high beam on, the reading is how much you are losing on the positive side then move the meter to the opposite vertical terminal on the plug and the other probe to battery negative youll see how much it drops on the switching side in a perfect world you wouldnt want to lose more than .5v total |
